Terms of use

Summit provides tools and general wellness support for your quit journey.

These service terms describe Summit: Quit Vaping, operated by David Michael Jones. Questions can be sent to support@summitquitvaping.com. These draft terms should be reviewed before public launch.

Age eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Summit, including its Accountability Partner. By using Summit, you represent that you meet this requirement. Summit does not offer minor or guardian-managed access. Do not provide false age information. If we learn that a user is under 18, we may restrict access. Contact support if you believe your age information is incorrect. Restricting access or deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.

App license

Your use of the iOS app is subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a separate custom license is presented in the App Store. These service terms do not replace that license or limit mandatory consumer rights.

General wellness, not medical care

Summit is not a medical device, healthcare provider, therapist, or emergency service. Its information and AI-generated replies are for general support, not diagnosis, treatment, or individualized medical advice. Consult a qualified professional about health concerns or treatment decisions. No result, including successfully quitting vaping, is guaranteed.

AI limitations

Your Accountability Partner uses artificial intelligence and may provide incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable responses. Use your judgment and verify important information. Do not rely on the coach during an emergency or as your only source of support. The coach cannot contact emergency services or monitor your safety.

Premium subscriptions

Summit Premium provides access to new personalized Accountability Partner replies while your subscription is active, subject to availability and applicable usage limits. The price, billing period, and any eligible introductory offer are displayed before purchase. Apple charges your Apple Account.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. If you accept a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription unless canceled in time under the terms shown by Apple. Manage or cancel through your Apple subscription settings. Deleting Summit does not cancel your subscription. Apple handles refund requests for Apple-billed purchases, subject to its policies and applicable law.

When Premium ends, free tracking and coping tools and existing saved conversations remain available; new premium AI replies require active access. Restore Purchases is available on the paywall.

Responsible use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass purchase verification or usage limits, or submit content you do not have the right to share. Do not use Summit for unlawful activity or to harm others. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse or security risks, subject to applicable law.

Your information

You retain rights to the content you provide. You permit the processing needed to deliver requested features as described in our privacy policy. Keep device backups if you wish to preserve local records. We do not promise that locally stored information can be recovered after device loss or app deletion.

Availability and updates

Features may change and online services can be interrupted. We do not guarantee continuous availability or error-free responses. Material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page, with additional notice where required. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
