Clear information, careful boundaries, and sources you can check.
Summit’s guides are designed to help adults understand common quit-vaping questions and choose a practical next step. This page explains how that information is selected, reviewed, updated, and corrected.

How we choose sources
Health-related statements begin with public-health and government sources, including the CDC and Smokefree.gov. We link directly to the underlying resource wherever it can help a reader check the information or find additional support.
How we review guides
Before publication, each guide is checked for a clear purpose, supportable factual claims, plain language, useful next steps, working citations, and consistency with Summit’s non-medical role. Drafting tools may assist with wording or organization; Summit remains responsible for the published page.
What the guides cannot provide
Summit offers general educational and motivational information—not diagnosis, medical treatment, emergency help, or a guaranteed outcome. Guides do not claim clinical review unless that is stated explicitly. Individual health questions belong with a qualified clinician or pharmacist.
Updates and corrections
Guide pages display their latest review date. We revisit information when sources change, a factual concern is reported, or a guide needs clearer context. Material corrections are reflected in the page and its updated date.

If you notice an unclear statement, a broken source, or information that may need correction, send the page address and a short explanation. Please do not include sensitive health information.
